4th of July

This is my all time favorite holiday ever! I love all of the activities that go along with this holiday. For the past couple of years I have been up in Utah for the 4th and have loved making this a tradition. So in Mike and Lindsey's neighborhood they have a city sponsored Pancake Breakfast, Parade for all the kids, and a carnival after the parade. This is how my day went....
Woke up at 6 am to take a shower and be out the door by 7:20, met Mike and Lindsey for the Pancake Breakfast which is always so yummy, sent the boys to the top of the parade route with the kids(it is so Utah but all of the kids get to be in the parade with decorated bikes, wagons, strollers, and even some floats!), all of the moms/myself grabbed our Diet cokes at the gas station and found a shady spot to watch the parade....

After the Parade we went home for a few minutes and then were off to Amie and Kens friends parents house, which was this gorgeous, huge house for a really good lunch and relaxing picnic time...then came home put Ava down for a nap and we put on a movie/napped.....woke up got food ready to take to the park for a picnic with a ton of Amie and Kens friends....listened to the bands play at the park and waited for the cities firework show to start....10:20 finally fireworks and Ava even stayed awake for them and did really well for her first show!
