Good Times

What a long weekend! Trips are so fun but it seems like they are also very tiring. We got back from the lake on Sunday night and were totally exhausted! Half of us got out there on Thursday night at 1 a.m., it was such drive because we were towing the boat and had to stop to put gas in the boat before we got to the marina where we launch and where are Hotel room was for the night! I knew that this hotel was going to be disgusting but we had to get it so we could have a slip for our boat....anywho...my dad, josh, matthew, and myself finally get checked into our room and it was like we we should have been just tent camping it was that bad and I of course had to sleep on this nasty two by four of a cot.....SOOOO Fun....NOT! So I did not sleep at all that night...once we got past that night everything else was super fun and the weather was great and really hot. We had so much fun together with the kids and being in the sun. The rest of the Fam came out late Friday night and we got on the water really early Saturday morning! Sorry for such a long post but I just have add a few more things! So my parents had got two rooms in town for Christopher and me and then my Parents... when we realized that we were not letting Lauren even near the dirty hotel room my room quickly became a room for all the girls....so Saturday night we all went to bed early from exhaustion and were soundly sleeping until we heard the fire alarm go off at 2:47 a.m. so Lauren and I are freaking out and we grab the kids and our purses and ran out the hallway thinking any second now my parents would be bolting out of there room...we are on the 14th floor running down the stairs trying to get out as fast as we can and stll no parents....we finally make it down and securtiy comes out and says FALSE ALARM....so we get in the elevators and go back to our rooms to find my dad standing outside our room...and I said where have you been, how come you did not come chasing after us and he said becasue security came right after we left and told us it was a false alarm.....I was soooooo MAD....But i guess it was better that we were safe and nothing was wrong. SO all in all we had a fabulous weekend with just a few minor glitches...HAHAHA! Here are some highlights from the weekend...oh yeah Mary just lost her two front teeth the night before we got there sooo CUTE!
