Christmas...

Christmas was so enjoyable/relaxing this year and went by way to quickly! Christmas Eve Josh and Lauren came over as well as Grandma Dunn for our traditional Mexican dinner. It was soooo yummy. A good friend/employee of my dad's makes homemade tamales every year for us so it has been a tradition to have those for dinner. After dinner we did our gift exchange for the kids and then my aunt, uncle, and cousins came over for dessert and to visit. It was so fun getting to see everyone and catch up. Christmas morning we woke up really early and headed out to Josh and Lauren's to watch the kids open their presents....It was so fun to watch the excitement in their faces and enjoy sharing that time with them. Although it was fun I do not see us making it a tradition any time soon seeing the rest of the day we were all exhausted!!! We came home and Christopher and I opened our presents which was not nearly as exciting as little kids opening presents...Dad made breakfast for us then we were able to spend time lounging around the house enjoying the day. For dinner we went back down to Josh and Lauren's and her family joined us as well so it was nice to be all together. Unfortunately Matthew caught the flu, he wasn't doing so well so we did not stay very long.My mom left for Arizona this morning so I will be on my own the next few days getting to relax and visit with friends! Hope everyone had a great Christmas :)
